I would still be honored to be a part of your wedding day! The minimum booking fees will still apply (Bride+4).
This will depend on the time you need to be ready. Typically my maximum is about 6-7 people. There is a $300 additional stylist fee for 7 or more services.
My styling times:
45min - Bridesmaids/Mothers
90min - Bride
120 min - Bride (Glam waves/Adding extensions)
Of course! Destination weddings will require airfare, hotel, meal, transportation. If you would like to inquire about a destination or out of state wedding, please email me personally at RondaAkandeHair@gmail.com.
Travel within a 15-mile radius of 48167 is complimentary. Travel up to 2 hours from 48167 is $50+$1/mile.
Over 2 hours from my home base will require overnight accommodations.
ANTIGUA BRIDES: $75 travel fee for anything outside of English Harbour
Once you have paid the $250 and have signed your contract, your wedding date is confirmed. The second and final payment is due 7 days before your wedding day and can be paid via Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
Changes can be made up to 60 days before your wedding and must be approved. Removing services is not allowed after signing and paying the non-refundable retainer. If getting ready location has changed I will requote the travel fee accordingly.
I do not offer flower girl hair services, so sorry about that! Junior-maids are $150.
It's best to know your exact numbers before inquiring but I understand if you have some party members who are undecided. I would book for only the number confirmed and we could possibly add on if the schedule allows.
As soon as possible!! Weddings are booked at least 12 months in advance (or more), with Saturdays being the first to go! The sooner, the better!
Unfortunately no. However, I understand your concerns which is why I’m inviting you to review my Instagram page where you will find more of my work and also bride testimonials. My bridal trials are only for clients who have booked and placed a deposit.
Once you submit your inquiry, you will receive a quote. You can accept the quote and sign your contract along with a $250 non-refundable deposit. I do not hold dates and book on a first come, first-served basis. Deposit is deducted from your final invoice.
If you are unsure, please email me at RondaAkandeHair@gmail.com along with photos of your bridal hairstyle inspiration AND photos of your natural hair color in good lighting. I typically have most shades of extensions to use during preview appointments but it's best to double check before the appointment so we don't have any surprises.
After your appointment is booked, you will receive a full detailed email with instructions on how to prep your hair for the preview along with what to bring to your appointment and where to park.
Anyone receiving wedding day services are able to book a preview appointment with me. All previews are $250 and 2 hours long. Subject to availability.
I reccommend coming alone to your appointment so we can really connect and customize your look based on our discussions. If you must bring someone, I allow one person because of the small space (no children).
All trials are done at my home studio in Northville, MI. If a bride would like for me to come to them, travel fees will apply.
The bridal trial is $250 and separate from the wedding booking. You will need to pay this at the time of scheduling your trial appointment online. Please note that the hair trial will allow you to try only one hairstyle and is a full 2 hour appointment. If you would like to try more than one style then extra fees will be applied.
You will receive a booking link from me about 4 months prior to your wedding. I do not do trials more than 3-4 months prior to date because most of your wedding planning will be completed and it will be easier for you to pick a hairstyle.
Yes. The reason it’s compulsory for ALL brides and why I give the appointment so much time is that it’s important to talk about what you like and don’t like. Because, sometimes you think you might like something, but then when you try it on, you realize it doesn’t suit you. Having a trial appointment will help you better understand what works and what doesn’t. This gives you the confidence and peace-of-mind needed on the day of the wedding.
The final invoice is due one week before the wedding day and it will need to be paid by the bride only. I suggest having everyone venmo you to complete their payment. If bridal party members would like to give gratuity on the day of the wedding, this can be done individually via cash or venmo.
I will need a wall outlet with 220V. A small table or side table and LOTS of natural light is a plus!
45 min - Bridesmaids and bridal party members
1 hour - Bridal party adding clip ins or that have extra thick hair
1.5 hrs - Bride
2 hrs - Bride Glam Waves
The ideal location would be a large hotel suite (not a standard room) or Airbnb. Ample space is needed for your vendors to set up. Most wedding venues that have bridal suites do not allow access until mid morning which might not always coinside with your day of schedule.
This is something that I will need to be notified about prior to finalizing the day of schedule since it will need extra time to apply. There is a $40 fee for application.
And they do not plan on wearing it in its natural curl, I will recommend that you wash and dry your hair using a brush to smooth out your texture as much as you can. Or have it professionally blowdried the night before.
Dirty hair is not better! I ask that everyone arrives with clean and fully blow dried hair. You will receive detailed hair prep instructions to pass along to the rest of the bridal party. If hair is not properly prepped, this will cause delays in the timeline and subject to additional fees.
During your preview, you will receive your wedding hair prep guide + kit.
Yes! Four weeks from the wedding date and after I received all the details about your final time you need to be ready, you will receive a finalized day of schedule. Timelines for hair services will not be allowd to be done by other vendors.
You will be responsible for replacing the lost or damaged hair extensions.
No! You are not to alter the color or length in any form. If you are to make any changes to the rented hair extensions, you will be responsible for replacing with a new set.
Your rental includes pre-addressed shipping label attached to a priority shipping box. The day following your wedding you will simply place the hair in the box, seal and pop it in the mail! You do not need to do anything to the hair like washing, drying, or combing!
After every rental, the hair extensions are thoroughly washed using a anti-fungal shampoo. The hair is then prepped with the proper products and dryed before arriving to your wedding day so you don't have to do any work!
Yes! They will need to come to my home studio for a color match prior to the wedding day. Please note its not a preview appointment - just a quick color match to make sure I have what they need.
Also, because the bride is the main contact and has signed a contract, if any damages happen or extensions are lost, the bride will be responsible for paying for the extensions.
It depends on the legth and weight of the hair package, but typically a full set of extensions are a minimum of $275.
I can get you a 10% discount if you order through me!
If you are interested in renting from me, please make sure to send me a photo of your hair in good light so I can make sure to have the correct color for you. If I do not have the perfect color at your preview, I will make sure to color match you and have the correct ones for your wedding day!
I use BFB hair (BFBHAIR.COM). They're human hair is ethically sourced and is completely seamless and undetectable in the hair! It comes in a variety of colors and they even do color matching.
