My love for styling hair dates way back to high school when my friends would ask me to give them updos for all the school dances. By my senior year of High School, I had a log book with back to back bookings for every dance and even charged my friends $20 HA! 

I attended WMU and also cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute in Chicago. Big city, big dreams! To combine my love for hair and also my business education, I started working for some of the beauty industry's top product sales teams. 

One of my friends is a successful bridal hairstylist and I asked her if it would be possible to help her out on a wedding. My skills were definately a little rusty and I was so nervous BUT I left the wedding that day with a feeling and an energy I had never felt before. I was hooked. Wedding days are special and I can't really put into words the lasting bond that I make with the brides. I truly love what I do! 

When I'm not playing the role of fairy Godmother, I'm with family and friends. I have a 3 year old son,  a husband of 8 years, and feisty  French bulldog! We moved from the big city of Chicago in 2022 back to my home state of Michigan and we are loving it. We also spend many months in the Caribbean (Antigua) where my husband grew up (hello destination brides!).
